Welcome to Raising Voices in Education.
We are an international team of doctoral students from England, Sweden, Chile and the United States. We are passionate about public education, but we are concerned about the increasing levels of privatisation globally and how it privileges some voices over others.
This blog raises the voices of those who matter in education.
Firstly, it challenges the dominant voices. Those which often speak too loudly and too powerfully, but may not represent the views of everyone.
Secondly, it gives voice to those who are often unheard. The voices which we feel are not always listened to. The people at the heart of education.
This blog is for anyone who is interested in education. A space where we can all raise our voices together. We hope you will want to join the discussion.
